The Rascals looked to avenge two losses at the hands of Dark Matter by doing what skaven do best- sneaky, dirty hitting and lightning-quick scoring. Such was the case in the first half when a few botched plays for the humans allowed a nameless, highly-skilled gutter runner through to pick up a ball and score quickly. The human side tried to power their way to the end zone, and while finding AV 7 difficult to break they still put the ball in the end zone. The super-fast nameless gutter runners scored in two turns (and could potentially have scored in one), to take a lead and receive the second half kickoff. Things looked up for the Rascals right until one of those nameless gutter runners made a mad dash for the end zone and failed two GFIs, suffering a severe casualty in the process and leaving the ball precariously in the humans' end zone. The human side shored up their team play and, behind the firm blitzing of Sirius, moved the ball by running alone the full length of the field to tie the game late. The overtime coin flip went the humans' way, and the rat ogre raging instead of blitzing with the humans poised to strike allowed the humans to hand the ball to Sirius again, who completed the hat trick and took the win from the Rascals. From Dan: The +2 FAME I had didn't matter, and he rolled more double-6 armor breaks than I've seen in a long time. His dice were so good virtually the whole game and he coached a flawess match, but his dice failed at the absolute worst times (double 1's on GFIs to the end zone and the rat ogre raging).
