23,000 fans turned out to see the match between the Taumelig Totentanz and the Not So Live Wires. It was a match that saw the most touchdowns scored in a league match so far this season, and a fan interaction that produced two rock throwing incidents and a pitch invasion. Two Star players on loan to the depleted Totentanz side made the difference in the match, as Hakflem Skittlespike threw for one score and Skitter Stab-Stab wearing "Fandough's headband" threw for another and also ran one into the end zone for the go ahead score. While Totentanz star receiver, Strumen Fest acted as a decoy, his littermate Wallen Fest was on the receiving end of two scores. The match was a wide-open affair that saw an end-to-end drama unfold in the closing moments. The Not so Live Wires had a chance to tie, but fumbled the ball a few feet from the goal line and a few moments later the Totentanz fans saw it bounce out of Wallen’s hands into the crowd at the other end of the field as the clock expired. Once again the hired wizard failed to perform in the match, and was seen trying to cast a spell on the Bloodwiser Babes at halftime. In the victorious Tontentanz locker room after the match, Al the son of David the equipment manager was heard to exclaim “Just WIN Pinkies!” Who Know? It just might catch!
