Bought a babe and an apothecary. Neither apoth helped. FOGs received in first half and scored a TD in two turns. BHK scored on the seventh turn. BHK cas a fair amount of FOG players, but the FOG was still able to line up 11 for the second half. Second half: FOG took the ball from BHK and scored but took four cas total by... the end of turn 3. FOG lined up 9 vs 11, but managed to knock the ball out in the middle of BHK territory and form a semi-cage. But the BHK scored an easy hit on a WE catcher, the ball bounced in the right direction, and BHK's ag4 + Big Hand dude scooped it out, dodged away, and handed it off. The next guy passed it a BHK player caught it and ran away for the TD. OT: BHK received the ball. By that time FOG players were hoping for a swift end. BHK picked up the ball and half-caged in the middle of the field. FOG failed some rolls, got CAS some more, and BHK walked down the field. They then handed it off, passed it next to the endline, and handed it off into the endzone. FOG was waiting for a turnover but it never came. BHK only had one roll end their turn prematurely the entire game--and it was a meaningless dodge. FOG knocked the ball out of the ball carriers' hands 4-5 times, but could never quite secure it. More than a few times it bounced right back into the hands of a BHK player. Anyway, that was the game. The FOG is seriously considering retirement after the punishment received. No news as of yet for plans from BHK. ------------------ Once again the now 2 time champions proved why they have consistently made it to the finals. Lots and Lots of luck this afternoon between bouncing ball catches, pows every other block, and the critical coinflip in overtime. Still, with the wood elves fielding just 6 players for the final drive and all of BHK's tacklers intact BHK had a big advantage anyway. Even the blitz result in overtime had no real effect on the BHK's ice cool demeanor, with one 2 elves dead and many bleeding and broken the wardancers critical blitz was stopped in its tracks by a skillful tentacle from our leader. In fact about 75% of the tentacles held thier targets fast. BHK is consdering a vacation until real competition surfaces again.
