Whoa! This one was crazy! Adolf trained like mad for this game, picking up Block (Intensive Training), Frenzy and Jump Up (Buzzing). He's a monster!
kliouuikyuf plays a great game, taking an early lead and holding it for most of the game. The Comets barely tie it up in Turn 8 to send it into OT. The Comets come out strong in OT, wearing the Necros down and forming a decent cage (for Humans) until the Thrower gets spastic and tries to rush the play. He falls over, of course, and the game is suddenly looking grim for the Humans. The Werewolves show some stellar teamwork and in one turn bring the ball down to within a few squares of the endzone. The Comets scramble to take him down, but fail a GFI on the Blitz and the Werewolf is one Dodge roll from a win. Of course, he fails, and it's a free-for-all. A turn later the Humans bring it back, a Hand-Off and a Pass and the Catcher runs into the endzone...only to trip and toss the ball into the crowd! They throw the ball back down towards the midline, just in time for Dudleydo to scoop it up and toss it to...AL! That's right, the Flesh Golem catches it and does what he does best: stands firm. The Humans knock the ball loose and turn it over (again!) in their Turn 7 and the Necros can't get it back. Finally, the Humans do something right, push a defender away, Hand-Off the ball to Dieter, and run it in for a win in Turn 8 of OT.
