The dwarves drew a pick from the miscellaneous mayhem deck, but nothing they could throw out would have been anymore chaotic than the complete laughing stock of the Wood Elf line. The elves turned over control on 7 individual ball/movement related failures (7 1s), on 3 blocks (2 double skulls, 1 single skull out of 2 single die blocks attempted), on 4 controlled actions (4 double ones, w/reroll) and finally, when it looked like they might score to an interception. Mandate's apothecary was used early and managed to take a broken neck down to only a sprained knee (bet that's gonna come up again). The dwarves played well and capitalized on every Wood Elf mistake, though they had a few nuffle-induced moments themselves (2 double skulls and a single die skull rerolled as a skull). They managed to score late in the first half, with 2 GFIs, and a pickup from a blitzer. Then, after the interception, managed to capitalize once again on the elves inability to do *anything*. Good game Brian. that about sums it up. a well coached game chuck. hopefully the dice are more kind next time.
