"Welcome back," or so the saying goes. Got a chance to play Jeff's dwarves before he's loaded them all with Guard. Doesn't matter, I knocked him down about 20 times, broke armor twice for stuns. His results... well, to be fair, he punched me around the field, broke armor as much as you would expect, but got 2 KOs and 5 casualties. Game played in the pouring rain. Highlight was last two turns of the game, I'm outmanned 6-11, and I pop my special play card "Punt." The ball serendipitously lands far enough away that he can't get to it, but my catcher can needing 9 steps to score. So he pops his card "Eclipse," turning everyone's Blood Bowl stats to those of rookie goblins for a turn- meaning the catcher now has a max move of 8. Never mind that he popped an eclipse in the pouring rain. So he lost tackle, I gained stunty, and it all didn't matter in the end as he got the 1-0 win.
